Streetalkin.com Privacy Statement
We enable our users to view the content of their choice and to tailor our site to their interests. Our site brings us into contact with thousands of users. Privacy is absolutely critical to the way we do business. We protect the personal information we collect. We pledge not to sell, share or trade any information without the knowledge and permission of our users without your explicit consent. Streettalkin.com seeks to uphold the privacy, security and comfort level of everyone with whom we come in contact as they travel the Internet.
If you have questions or concerns regarding this statement, you should first contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Streettalkin.com collects two types of data from Internet users.
- First Streettalkin.com collects non-personally identifiable information from its site’s visitors: User/ISP IP addresses and what pages they visited. We use this information to continuously improve our site’s functionality.
- Second Streettalk.com collects name and e-mail address, from those visitors who made content requests, inquiries or comments. We use this information to directly respond to visitors’ communications and to provide the content that they request.
Storage of Information
Streettalkin.com utilizes the industry’s leading data security solutions and has implemented policies and procedures to ensure the physical and electronic security of data stored by Streettalkin.com.
Policy on Updating and Correcting Personally Identifiable Information
To correct or update personally identifiable information stored by Streettalkin.com, customers may send an e-mail to email@example.com, request a copy of the file with information on them and then e-mail back the desired changes.
Opt Out Policy
Streettalkin.com employs permission-based marketing principles: it communicates only to those users who affirmatively express an interest in receiving e-mails relevant to their interests in a particular company or product. Users’ permission to receive commercial e-mails may be granted and taken away; in other words users may “opt-in” and “opt-out”. If a user chooses to opt-out, Streettalkin.com will stop sending any messages to that user. Streettalkin.com puts a high value to the customers’ ability to discontinue receiving unwanted e-mail, and provides the ability to opt-out of any e-mail lists.
Opt In/Opt Out Procedures
- Opt-in: Streettalkin.com provides users with the opportunity to “opt-in” during any campaign we host that involves signing up for e-mail lists or registering for content, information, newsletters, prizes, or contests. This means that users know they are giving their contact information to receive something in return.
- Opt-out: For any e-mail list that Streettalkin.com manages, whether from its corporate site or from one of its associates, users always have an opportunity to opt-out of the list. To be removed from the respective mailing list, one may either reply to the e-mail message and put the word REMOVE in the subject line or, where available, use the “one click unsubscribe” function. If, for some reason, this does not successfully remove the customer from the list, it may be that they have more than one record in the customer database. The customer then should e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org directly and we will see that the records are removed.
Streettalkin.com utilizes cookie technology for purposes of web site traffic analysis such as the time/date of the visit, the time/date of last visit, the page viewed, the referrer, transaction information for ecommerce pages, and other data. The cookies never include personal information such as name, mailing address and phone number. We do not collect such information and visitors that we track can not provide us with personal information through normal movement across a web site.
